Lil’ Wayne will be released from jail in just a few days, but yet another prison guard has gotten in trouble visiting the famed rapper in his isolation cell without authorization.

According to AllHipHop News, the prison guard who made the visit to Lil’Wayne is named Captain Raphael Collazzo. He has now been suspended from work without pay for ten days. He allegedly visited Lil’ Wayne in his solitary confinement cell and talked with him for more than 45 minutes. Collazzo is a 20-year-veteran and it seems that he won’t receive any further punishment. He also claimed that he did not break any rules by making the visit. He explained, “I spoke to the captain and I said, ‘Do you know what’s going on?’ He goes: ‘I have done nothing wrong. I don’t have any dealings with this guy.” However, apparently he broke the terms of Lil’ Wayne’s solitary confinement punishment that he received for being caught with an MP3 player.

Captain Collazzo is not the first guard to find himself in trouble for visting Lil Wayne- he is as least the third this year. Earlier this year in April a guard named Amelia Negron was actually fired from the Rikers facility for visiting Lil’ Wayne’s cell without proper authorization. In September, another prison guard named LaTanya Brown found herself in hot water for giving the rap start better treatment and allowing him to stay in his cell when he was supposed t to be in the recreation yard. It seems that Captain Collazzo was lucky that he didn’t find himself in more trouble than he did.
